Abstract

Religious ritual is one of the religious traditions which consists of several series of actions that must be carried out according to certain rules. Various research on Religious Rituals will continue to be developed and published in various academic journals. In this study, the aim was to map the development of research on religious rituals using Bibliometric analysis on the Dimensions database. This study uses a quantitative method to identify research developments in the theme of religious rituals using bibliometric analysis on the dimensions database (dimensions.ai.com). There are 5 steps in the research process: determining keywords, data collection, article selection, data validation, and data analysis. in various scientific discourses. The results of this study indicate that the dominant research category is in the fields of philosophy and the study of religions. Meanwhile, the research category using the SDGs method is dominant in the fields of peace, justice, and strong institutions. Developments from year to year in Religious Ritual research have increased drastically, especially in 2020. The author with the highest number of publications is Moh-Rosyid. Place of publication with the highest number of citations of Religious Ritual research is the Studia Islamika Journal. The intellectual structure of the domain and research taxonomy of Religious Rituals in this study are expected to be reused by educational institutions.
