Abstract

Penanda molekuler menjadi salah satu kajian strategis dalam pemuliaan dan konsenvasi tanaman. Kelompok tanaman Moraceae memiliki potensi yang cukup luas dalam bidang sumber pangan, obat, hias, dan ekologi. Ketersediaan data base sekuen materi genetik juga menjadi salah satu pertimbangan dalam menunjang keberhasilan eksplorasi penanda molekuler tanaman Moraceae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil sekuen gen MatK, rbcL, dan trnL kelompok Moraceae. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengunduh informasi sekuen gen melalui laman NCBI. Data berupa nama ilmiah tanaman, identitas gen, panjang sekuen, dan lokus gen ditabulasi dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa terdapat 30 data base sekuen gen MatK, rbcL, dan trnL secara berurutan memiliki panjang bervariasi yaitu 1428 bp, 1518 bp, dan 81 bp.
