This study aims to identify inflectional and derivational morphemes and describe their functions in Lewis Hamilton’s discourse on Jay Shetty’s podcast. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study analyzed a transcript of approximately 30 minutes of conversation. The data were classified according to their morphological types and functions. The findings indicate that inflectional morphemes mark grammatical information, including number, possession, tense, aspect, and comparison. Meanwhile, derivational morphemes contribute to word formation and changes in grammatical categories. These morphological processes demonstrate how language structures grammatical relationships and enriches vocabulary in spoken English discourse.
