Abstract

Religion will definitely continue to develop and run with time. However, the existence of religious evolution will cause a human civilization to move away from things that are natural or original. culture, customs, and religion will change with the times, because this also shows that culture, religion, and customs still exist in human life. Changes related to the religious context will experience changes back to other dimensions such as social and cultural, because in this case religion has a connection or continuity that is quite a big influence on people's lives. The purpose of this research seeks to explain the following problems: first, what is the appropriate research category for the evolution of religion in society? Second, how is the development trend in each year? Third, who is the most active writer in studying the problem of the evolution of religion? Fourth, which institutions publish about the evolution of religion? The method used in this research is to use quantitative by using descriptive bibliometric analysis. To identify sources of data and information related to the impact of religious evolution on society using database dimensions. The result of this study is that there has been a very significant increase in the evolution of religion that occurred in 2017. This article is very interesting to see the data in the study of the evolution of religion.
