The International Conference on Perennial Crops 2026 was held online on June 24, 2026, organized by the Indonesian Agronomy Association (PERAGI) Commissariate West Java in collaboration with the Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran, the organizing committee, collaborating institutions, and all supporting partners for their dedication in organizing this important scientific event.
Perennial crops play a strategic role in ensuring food security, improving farmer livelihoods, supporting environmental sustainability, and strengthening agricultural economies. Many perennial commodities, including fruit crops, plantation crops, medicinal plants, and industrial crops, are increasingly challenged by climate change, land-use pressures, emerging pests and diseases, and changing market demands. Therefore, scientific innovation and collaborative research have become more important than ever.
As a professional organization, PERAGI is committed to promoting scientific advancement, fostering collaboration among researchers and practitioners, and encouraging the application of research findings to address real-world agricultural challenges. We believe that conferences such as this provide an excellent platform for exchanging knowledge, disseminating innovations, and building networks that transcend institutional and national boundaries.
We are delighted to see the participation of researchers, academics, students, government representatives, and industry stakeholders from various countries, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Belgium, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, and Japan.
